Having tried using Landisks for many years, this appear to be a champ. Old setups based on similiar type of concepts emerged more than 3 years ago, priced similiar or more than this one. File transfers were laggy and connections were terminated, especially if you use it over a wireless LAN network.

The DNS-323 is an all in one package, and simple enough for rookies to use. We used 2 brand new 500GB Sata II Maxtor Harddisk, and simply plug it in, plug in the cables and viola! Formatting was a breeze, and setup is fairly easy to understand, if you are no techkie, just leave everything as default and you are ready to go. Transfer speeds over a Wifi G network is breezy. If you are not into tweaking and advanced setting, this is just the one solution.
